This document is minutes from a meeting of the Board of Commissioners on March 4, 1935. Topics discussed were: Treasurer's report; approval of bills for payment; use of Memorial Park; removal of the skating house at Lake Ellyn.
A letter and questionnaire were received from the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works soliciting information on possible projects. The projects listed were: the recreation house in Lake Ellyn Park, comfort stations at Sunset Park and Memorial Park, a Community House, and a swimming pool.
Frederick Walker, the architect, presented sketches of a recreation house, but the matter was tabled until it was certain the project could be started.
