This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on March 18, 1964. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; discussion of plans to move basketball courts from current location with blacktop provided; discussion with the Clay Court Group on the clay tennis courts in Lake Ellyn Park; a petition requesting a park south of Kay Rd in the northwest section of Glen Ellyn; request for use of tennis courts by the Amateur Athletic Association for training; request of use of South Park [Newton] for golf practice by Glenbard HS; passage of a tax levy; a request for use of baseball diamonds by the Boys Baseball Association and for lumber to build a scoreboard for the Memorial Park Little League diamond; requests for the use of the Boathouse; purchase of three portable bleechers for use at the Sunset Wading Pool and Memorial Park; discussion of a proposal for asphalt in several parks; decision to secure estimates for expansion of Sunset Pool;.

The minutes also record a letter from Glenbard HS School Board requesting use of Memorial and South [Newton] Parks for an unlimited term and offering the sale of 25 acres of land on St. Charles Rd, between Swift Rd., and Riford Rd. to the PD. The PD replied that the HS could lease some land in Memorial Park for an annual amount in exchange for the HS property on St. Charles Rd.,
