The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report that the Village will extend drinking water to Forest Park [Prairie Path]; the donation of a tree to be planted in Forest Park [Prairie Path]; a request by the Stephens Lumber Co. for further discussions on buying a part of Forest Park [Prairie Path] immediately next to the business; report that the request to use 12-ft "sailfish" boats on Lake Ellyn supported by the Yacht Club; the approval of improvements for the baseball diamonds in South Park (Newton]; election of officers; discussion of the benefits of a public recreation program and the creation of a committee to create a proposal and present it to the Board in May; a presentation on the annexation to the PD of an area south of Roosevelt Rd.; a presentation by representatives of the GE Tennis Association introducing the organization and requesting the help of the PD in establishing fee tennis courts in the PD ; a report by the Recreation Committee of the League of Women Voters; requests for the use of the Boathouse; requests for the use of the assembly room; requests for the use of Lake Ellyn Park; the authorization that estimates for grading North Park [Ackerman] be presented at the next meeting; approval of resurfacing of the clay tennis courts;
