The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year 1967; discussion of the declaration by the Court that sale of Pfuetze Park for taxes was a "sale in error"; a report that the Jaycees have organized a survey on the annexation of additional areas to the Village of GE and discussion that the PD survey be distributed by the Jaycees at the same time; request for the use of the assembly room by the League of Women Voters to discuss the long-range plan; a report that the Village of GE Plan Commission, Recreation, and Zoning Boards were interested in discussing the long-range plan; a letter from the Village that they will attempt to include the reconstruction of a storm sewer at the northeast end of Lake Ellyn in 1968; a letter advising that the Glen Ellyn Manor Subdivision will create a lake and grounds which will eventually be under the control of the PD; confirmation of selection of a contractor for remodeling the shelter house in South Park [Newton]; permission for the Amateur Athletic Association to use Lake Ellyn for the annual Illinois Outdoor Speed Skating Championship races; a discussion of insurance and adult supervision for the GE Rocket Society; requests for the use of the assembly room.
