Description
This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on November 17, 1975. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; reports from the Supervisors of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; and a report on the development of a master plan by the Recreation Commission for Panfish Park. There was a discussion on the Future Park Sites and Park Improvements Project: Ackerman Park, Lake Foxcroft Park, Johnson Center Park, Lake Ellyn Park, Newton Park, and a Bicentennial Playground [Newton Park]. Other reports were presented: on the status of plans to renovate the Administration Building; that information on the possible annexation of the Valley View Subdivision had been sent to one of the homeowners; and on the formation of Special Education Associations. The Board recessed the regular meeting to convene an Executive Session to discuss land acquisition.
