This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on May 17, 1976. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; and a report on the Recreation Commission. A report on the Future Park Sites and Improvement Project included updates on Ackerman Park, Lake Foxcroft Park, Co-op Park, Goodrich Farm [Babcock Park], the Johnson Center, and the Bicentennial Playground. A resolution to fund the Special Recreation District was passed. The Board recessed the regular meeting to reconvene in Executive session to discuss personnel matters and land acquisition.
