This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on November 15, 1976. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; and a report on the Recreation Commission. A report on the Future Park Sites and Improvement Project included updates on landscaping; Ackerman Park; Goodrich Farm [Babcock Grove Park]; installation of playground equipment at several parks; the Johnson Center; a decision to build a facility at Ackerman Park rather than try to buy the American Legion building; and the purchase of land in Glen Ellyn Manor. A report on the Recreation Commission discussions on the development of Co-op Park and a Letter of Agreement defining the division of responsibilities between the PD and the Village for the development. The property on Duane Road was named Danby Park and the Goodrich Farm was named Babcock Grove Park.
