This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on October 13, 1965. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; tabling of the proposal to offer a reward for the apprehension of people causing vandalism; request to use the Boathouse; discussion of recommendations from the Illinois Dept. of Health regarding Sunset Pool; a decision to make temporary repairs to the wall of the Boathouse and to proceed with other repairs; discussion of maintenance of the ice on Lake Ellyn and at the ice skating area in South Park [Newton]; commissioning an architect to prepare preliminary drawings for a building to house offices, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, restrooms, machine shop, and garage.
