Description
This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on August 16, 1976. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; and a report on the Recreation Commission. A report on the Future Park Sites and Improvement Project included updates on Ackerman Park; Goodrich Farm [Babcock Grove Park]; Frank Johnson Center; and the Bicentennial Playground. A report on the Special Recreation District noted that the Articles of Agreement need to be rewritten and should be ready for approval in September. The Board recessed and reconvened in Executive Session to discuss land acquisition.
