Description
This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on September 20, 1976. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; and a report on the Recreation Commission. A report on the Future Park Sites and Improvement Project included updates on Ackerman Park; Frank Johnson Center; Goodrich Farm [Babcock Grove Park]; landscaping; and Co-op Park. A resolution was passed levying the Working Cash Fund Tax. The revised Articles of Agreement and By-Laws for the Special Recreation District were presented and approved. The Board recessed and reconvened in Executive Session to discuss land acquisition.
