This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on February 16, 1976. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Recreation; and a report from the Superintendent of Parks. There was discussion on various parks and improvements: Ackerman, Lake Foxcroft Park, Johnson Center, and Co-op Park. There was also discussion of the Special Recreation Districts, the bike path, the Recreation Commission, Newton Park, and joint land acquisition with Carol Stream [Multi-Community Park]. The attorney for the PD reported the need to run a tract search on the Ada Harmon Wildflower Preserve. The Board recessed the meeting to reconvene in Executive Session to discuss land acquisition.
