This document is minutes of a Board of Commissioners meeting on October 20, 1975. The minutes record approval of bills for payment; the Treasurer's report; a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation; reports from the Supervisors of Recreation; a report from the Superintendent of Parks; a report on bids for work at Newton Park; a report that the Jaycees are trying to raise money for a community bus. There was a discussion on the Future Park Sites and Park Improvements Project: Memorial Park; Ackerman Park; a bike path; Lake Foxcroft Park; and Bicentennial Playground [Newton Park]. There was a report on the Recreation Commission and the formation of a committee to study land acquisition on the south side of the PD. The Board adjourned the regular meeting to reconvene in executive session.
